What goes with chicken breast and brown rice to give it some taste?

peas, carrots, broccoli, sugar-snap peas, sweetcorn, mushrooms, green beans, runner beans, onions, courgettes, cucumber, tomato... :p

oh and if you mean sauces how about a mild curry paste, or tomato paste, or maybe a teeny tiny bit of pesto?

Thai Chilli sauce, it tastes like a cheat meal.

Lots of sodium though so you don't want to be at that two often!!!

    Baked beans? For real? Nice.

Thai Chilli sauce. Grand, I'll get some of that. And I'll start throwing in random veg. I'm kinda sick of pesto from years of tuna-pasta with pesto as a lunch. The curry sauce sounds interesting, but will that affect the healthiness of the meal?
I have some Korma sauce, and if I could use that then I would be a happy nappy.

its a paste as opposed to a sauce so you use it sparingly. sauces, esp Indian ones, that come from packets or jars tend to be high in saturated fats and additives, colourings & flavourings so check the labels. Or make your own of course ;)

    Nice. Nice.
Thanks, I'll try those recipes out.

BTW, T-Ha if you're reading this: I made that shake you suggested, using milled oats, milk, honey and bananas, and I added a handful of frozen raspberries. 'Twas delicious, thanks. I'll use that one again.

    Balsamic vinegar is lovely too.

Try Worcestershire sauce or maybe some Soy sauce (don't know the salt content of soy sauce but i'd imagine it's quite high).
