No but my sister seems to be having enough for the both of us :rolleyes: (Twins on the way and 3 existing tots)

I've been raising my nephew for the past couple of years along with my parents as the kids parents are f*ck ups.

Well i'm curious because i was cornered last week and asked why i wasnt pregnant yet at the tender age of 20
im still reeling from the shock.
my relations seem to think just because ive had a couple of fella's that im gonna get pregnant

Nah dont get me wrong i love kids and at the weekends i can mostly be seen babysitting my godson and a baby my mam used to mind but

Your a bit mental, why oh why would you question your own life decisions? You don't want kids and you don't have any kids, your taking precautions (although you have had a few ricky encounters:eek) so why would you question why you have yet to have children?

And anyone who is encouraging you to start pumping the babies out while your single and 20 years old is an irresponsible moran if you ask me!

I am not having a go at you, I am just shocked to know why your mind set is as it is.

No kids yet have 3 fab nephews & 1 fab niece so they keep me busy. In a long term relationship we've talked about it but im not ready yet. I don't want to have kids until im 29 or 30 at least & thats another few years away yet!!

Femmy she is a dote as are all the other kids My daughter would kill me if I put her pic up but here's my son. This was last year though when he was 2.5 and he's 3.5 now. Don't have too many pics on work pc.

Thanks everyone tells me that. My daughter rarely comes shopping with me and often people will ask is my son my youngest and nearly have a heart attack when I say he has an almost teen sister. Then usually the older women will look at my wedding finger. It freaks them out!

V1llianous your son is a dote. Almost enough to make me broody. Nah didn't work! Its amazing how much they change your life but its def in a good way.

There are a lot more parents here then people think but most of the kids stuff tends to be in the parenting forum.

I have two, one of each kind the eldest is 8 and the youngest is 5 and a bit.
I too get odd looks and people assuming that I was a teen mum as I don't look ( or behave ) like a 30 year old apparently.

I am 28 with a three year old son and a four month old girl. I am glad I had them when I did as it is easier when you are young and able for them. On that note I have two close friends unable to concieve with no apparent reason. It makes me all the more thankful for my kids.

I have 3 boys; eldest will be 5 next month, next will be 2 next month and youngest will be 1 in June.

I dont ever want children. I am not in anyway maternal. I hate kids. I'm sorry if I offend anyone here, but I just cant stand everything about children. I see them as leeches. I would prefer to spend my life with my partner and concentrate on my career and him.

I'm 22 and dont have any children. But i will definately have kids in a few years hopefully. I have a 5 year old nephew and 7 year old niece and i adore them, i get on really well with them, but at the moment, that's enough for me!!!

oh god i defo want children..cant wait tbh, obviously i want to be married first tho, dont think i could be a single parent! Besides im on my way to being a primary school teacher so obviously i enjoy kids! Kids are great tho..annoying at times yes but the things they come out with-their hilarious..and they so innocent/naive about the world too..awww...!

I find it really odd when i hear women saying they never want to have children-makes me think their very cold and self absorbed. i thought every woman would want the chance to experience the feeling of a life growing inside them and having the sole responsiblity to bring it into the world..and to hold your flesh and blood-your baby for the first time knowing that you made this child must be so special!....but hey dont get me wrong, each to their own and what not!!

Its not cold to not want kids. Just because I have the facility to bring a child into the world, doesnt mean I have to, or even should. I just dont have an interest in them. I really dont understand how its self absorbed either, I just dont feel maternal. I will share my life with my partner and it I feel the need to nurture something I'll get a dog.

ya fair enough if thats how u feel..im not arguing with you-your entitled to ur opinion/live life how you want..i suppose it would be worse for you to have a child knowing you dont have an interest in them..the child would only suffer then!!
