Why is it that I can absolutely kill my legs in the Gym and be sore for days after but cannot get the same effect for chest, arms, back. Is it because of the size of the muscles in your legs?

Basically , when you are training your legs it's pretty to isolate the relevant muscle, be it quads, calves or hams, so you can direct all the stress to the desired point. Also, there is something to be said for the sheer amount of weight you can move when you are doing legs.

TO be honest though, you should still be able to get a deep rooted soreness in you chest, back and shoulders expecially for a few days after your workout!!!!!
