My whey protein is early used up and, being a typical student, I dont have any money (probably something to do with the fact I dont have a job:rolleyes: ). Anyway, its gonna be a while before I can get some more whey, so whats a good source of protein post workout; egg whites, milk, chicken, tuna, steak......? Thanks

blend up some tuna add some diet coke!!! i actually tried that before:o *shudders at the memory*

Skimmed milk i reckon would be a good option, plennty of simple carbs, barely any fat and a decent bit of protein, a pint would get you about 17-18g of protein

eggs are the best source of natural protein out there. Egg whites are pretty much made up of water and protein so you can eat them in abundance. One of the measurements of protein in food is the biological value, which scores from 0 to 100. Eggs score 100 meaning all the ingested protein is retained or used by the body. Whey protein also scores 100.

Post training , you need isobolic protein, this will breakdown in system quickly,
and if you are going to spend a few bob add pharmacutical grade glutamine and glycine in your shake.

Google CYTOPRO , its best isobolic I have used.

Make sure your pre-workout meal is loaded with protein & carbs.
