Just had to share this one. Had it last night, and easily the nicest thing I've ever cooked - get a nice fresh tuna steak from our local fishmongers. Put it in a plastic bag with some fresh chopped coriander, fresh ginger finely chopped, the juice of about half a lime, a little bit of soy sauce and a little bit of olive oil.
Tie the bag, and mix around all the ingredients and leave to marinade for around 10 minutes. Then put in a pan for a few minutes - make sure not to overcook it.

    Completely delicious, swear to god.

Also, some tuna and pasta possibilities - (cooks for two)
take a can of tuna, and fry it gently with some olive oil, an onion, a clove (or two) of chopped garlic, and some cherry tomatoes. You only need to cook it for around 3 minutes. Add the juice of half a lemon and some pepper and half a teaspoon of dried chilli flakes. Mix it all in with some wholewheat pasta. Scrummy.

Or cook an onion and clove/two of garlic in some olive oil, add a can of tuna and a can of tinned chopped tomatoes, along with half a teaspoon of dried chilli flakes and a tablespoon of tomato puree. And mix with pasta.

I know this isn't a cookery board, but it's always good to know ways of eating tuna.

While I'm here, anyone have any views on Pharmaton? I'm just finished a heavy course of antibiotics after succumbing to one of those infections that were 'going around' and I want to build up my immune system again. Pharmacist recommended pharmaton.

I've tried Pharmaton before (post anti-biotic) and i didnt find it particularly good - its ridiculously over-priced as well - not worth the Price at all.

My doctor recomended that i take Echinaccea after an anti-biotic the last time i was finished an anti-biotic. You can get it in any health shop and its not too expensive - its tastes alrite when you mix it with a bit if orange juice: its pretty rank when mixed with water.

Any of you also find Echinaccia good for building up the immunes system?
