    My buddy got carried away yesterday starting his T-Maxx { well he was trying to start it}
    When he saw smoke pour out of the little starter motor...Now he thinks it is knackered..
    Question is this.
    Can that motor be replaced with a regular motor ? As in a 27 turn stock or maybe a 15 or something ?
    We have plenty of rebuildable motors lying around and i see it as being a viable exchange to make.. :D

    Sounds like he's been doing too much nitro action.
    With electric, you're supposed to keep the smoke in ! ;)

    So long as the diameter (and length) are similar to the "old" motor:
    A mabuchi 540 7.2V or Graupner Speed 600 7.2 V wind, a buggy motor with about 15 turns, or a Johnson 6421 7.2v wind...any of them should do as a reasonable replacement.
