Best EPA to DHA Ratio in Fish Oil Capsules...?

I have read various websites concerning what type of fish oil is best to
take for protecting the *heart*. From what I've read it appears that the
best type of oil to take is one that is derived from deep sea fish, and
    not from farmed fish.

Also, one that has been refined to ensure it does not contain heavy
metals. It should contain EPA & DHA.

I was wondering if you have any suggestions on what quantity/ratio of
EPA & DHA should be taken?

Some capsules contain a high ratio of EPA to DHA. For example, "o3mega+
joy" by "Genuine Health" contains 500mg EPA and just 25mg DHA.

Whereas other capsules contain 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA. So the levels
of EPA & DHA are much more similar.

If a person takes 1g of Omega-3 fatty acids daily is there a
preferantial ratio of EPA to DHA which should be taken?

Thank you for any suggestions. :)

Morepa is generally considered the best with a 7:1 ratio and no PCB's or heavy metals.

What do you mean by "PCB's or heavy metals"?

    I missed a "no".

So by 7:1 does that mean the EPA amount is 7 times the DHA amount? (not the other way around)

Is this a good ratio for protecting the heart? Would the ratio not be better if it was a more similar ratio? i.e. EPA & DHA in more similar amounts...
