I sentflowers/chocs into her work place for her, and left a white gold/topaz pendant and 2 cards on our bed, oh and a pink teddy.

Valentines is a rip-off! Hallmark holiday... Presents are important for birthdays and Christmas. Also, you should make a fuss of your boyf/girlf EVERY day, not just on Valentines day

A card and a top. I'd of prefered to get nothing really. I've always hated Valentine's for as long as I could remember, being in a relationship this year didn't change that. Where romance is forced and Hallmark makes a small fortune off us. If people are so mad to act romantic on this day, maybe someone should point out the other 364 days available for acting romantic to your other half.

Got the most romantic card this morning. My bf asked me what I wanted for Valentines and I said the moon. So he said if he couldn’t get the moon what would I like and I told him a voucher for benefit make up. So last night we were in mine and he pulled out a big teddy and a box of chocs and said the card was in the post and that he was so sorry that it didn’t get there on time.

So later we were watching a movie and he said “oh shít Kiera I totally forgot about your make up voucher I’m so sorry” I said it was grand and that the teddy and chocs were perfect. So I come into work today and my card is on my desk and inside it are cut outs from the “star” and “sun” newspapers and I note saying I owe you 1 moon and a voucher for my make up. I’m the happiest girl on the planet!!

Felt kinda bad for one of the girls in the office tho, she got dumped.

I got tickets to 2 comedy gigs I was dying to go to, and we went out for a bit to eat (and got drowned cos of the stupid rain :rolleyes: ) But it was a lovely evening none the less.. and I'm delighted with the tickets!
