Still not sure if speed dating going ahead cos bit of confusion bout the whole thing between anto kelly and world aid soc! Anywho,Whether its on or not am planning to head to student bar with a couple of my singly freinds on Valentines night cos there is some bands playing.So I propose we should do a singles meet up in the bar on tuesday night-well more of just meeting up for the craic and to hear some toons,but u never know we may have a boards romance in our midst(scraggs and MNG,Pythia and hullaballo??Who knows where cupids little arrow may strike!) So anyone up fo it??!

The problem with that is, imagine if only a few turned up...then you're effectively spending Valentine's Day on your own. :eek:

It has to be at 5 so that we have time to tidy up afterwards before Anto Kelly's Valentines Ball thingy. I know it does kinda suck that its early, but it'll be fun anyway!!

Panda, since it's early you could have time to do both!! But if you cant, speed dating is probably the way to go. Not that i'm biased or anything, but going somewhere to meet a random stranger doesnt sound the safest!!

Found out who it is anyway and i have nooo romantic inclinations towards him so shall be quite akward when I next see him!!Nope anto kellys thing is not coupley,it is a couple of bands playing!I'm heading to the med soc romeo and juilet ball tonight so my head may be a wee bit sore but sure will be there with bells on for the speed dating obviously just to help out and not participate(that would be for losers wouldnt it,hullabaloo,pigenbutler,angel of fire and the van!!:D )

Tried it once a few weeks ago. Pretty crap. Because most of the girls lack originality you have the same conversation a 100 times over. One girl was interesting though, she had a list of wacky questions.
