My dad bought an Advent 7083(i know...) in PC world...:(. It has an AMD Turion 64 processor. It is 1.6 ghz, but in "My Computer" it comes up as being only around 800mhz. Is this "missing" 800Mhz used for graphics, like 128 mb of the ram is, but it says it has an ati graphics chip. Or is it only 800mhz because it is a 64bit processor which makes up for it?:confused: I have no idea!

    Spec is Here

Found the answer, its because the power management system makes the chip run at lower speed in order to save power.
