    Hey All,

I am just wondering on what is a good number of push ups to be doing, and what is the main body part that you are working? Also are the variations good as well, such as clap, one armed etc . . any advise would be beneficial.

Im not fully sure but press-ups for me did alot of good for my chest, and the arms. Incline and decline press-ups to work different parts of the pecks. Chances are if your starting off you wont be able to do a load but the idea is to increase the amount! I started at 10 then quickly went up to 20 then 30 then 40... Do them on a regular basis should see improvement fairly fast, but even if you dont keep doing them. Some people say they can weaken your wrists but Im not to sure about that! Hope something out of this helped!

Demi Moore was doing them on chairs in GI Jane.

    That was sweet.

Just read that link there Dragan and I have to recommend the low hanging press ups, I got (not active at the moment) a very good workout when doing them.
