What I cant understand is that Ive a BF% of 22, yet Im well within the healthy weight for my height.. 5'7. If I was to go on a fat blitz, Id get the BF% down but surely Id look pretty weak??

Ya he's pure mad on weights. He does about two hours a day. But his cardio fitness is pretty average. How come? Because if he has such a high muscle percentage should he not be cadio fit too?

I'm 5''10 and 75kg And he's 6" and he's nearlt 80kg. We both train together usually, doing weights anyway, but i do a 4km jog bout 3 times a week too.
We've been training now about 3years.

Is it really necessary to discuss body fat again like this?

Real question should be how do i feel in general i.e. tired or energetic?

When i look in the mirror do have the physique i am training for or getting there? (Be honest)

Just because you have a low body fat does not mean much - at my lowest (4-5%, 13st 6lbs, i felt like crap yet everyone told me i looked great)

Again if someone is young (under 21yrs) and lifting light weights seeing 6 pack is relatively easy lets see more post on people who have full time job, kids, bills to pay etc now they are the people i respect as they have many more limitations to deal with.

p.s i respect all that train though the focus at all levels needs to be placed on the basics rather than what people see in magazines. Most have no idea how much training goes into getting into the kind of shape i or any professional is in.

    Agreed.

Plus bodyfat can vary depending on goals. It's very difficult to gain (or even keep) an appreciable amount of muscle at low levels of bodyfat, so it's easier to build up with a calorie surplus and reasonable amounts of bodyfat. I don't like going above about 12% but I've no intention of cutting it down low until at least May.

Too many guys get hung up on cutting and showing off what they've got before they actually build up something to show off. I've also had the same experience of very low bodyfat levels - people think you look great but you've no drive, libido etc. so not as much fun as you'ld think really.
