Gamecon 8 anyone?

Hi lads,

As most of you probably know by now, Gamecon 8 will take place in the Castleknock Hotel in Dublin between the 24th (21:00) and the 26th (09:00) of February.

CoD2 is one of the games that will be played there with a 3v3 S&D competition taking place but also an "unofficial" HQ competition.

I am definitely going to that LAN and I was wondering who else was going. Are you?

Well i would have to come up from clare, without a car. so I would have to haul my big desktop pc onto the bus, then move it over onto a train, then i think theres a train switch half-way, and then carry it across dublin. Well thats more effort than im willing to put in. Maybe i'll be able to drive next year.....

That aimed at me too, im close to Drapper. Well as it turns out yeah I am now going to goto gamecon. Ive loaned them some of my gear so Id better go and keep an eye on it anyways.

Yep, I'll hopefully be there.

As for [G.F.F] (my old clan), there probably wont be anyone. They don't seem to be big into LANs. Hopefully they will prove me wrong because I'd love to see some of them at this event but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

We're in =[TDM]= We play mainly UO at the minute but now we finally have five members with CoD2 we may start scrimming in it.

AH ive seen them TDM lads about I thought it was something to do with team death match but its a clan I may add you lads on to my xfire I havent already got you.

IBB ariel wont be an issue the connection will be perfect as IBB know there will be a lot of people using it and they wont want 150 people thinking they are crap, they will put it on to one of their less conjested arterys, that rules out the m50.

I can't wait! Although I haven't finished building my new PC yet (can't get new RAM to work properly and need to format)...

BTW, a friend of mine is giving me a lift to Citywest Hotel right after work on Friday evening which means I'll be there REALLY early... Anybody else going to be early?
