    Hi Everyone

Just following on from my other thread Somebody mentioned weighing myself evrey seven days wouldn't be enough to see any major weight changes so would 10 days do it or does it need to be a longer period of time?

    Ta :p

weighing yourself every seven days is fine, but no quicker than that. Personally, like I said before, I do i once every 4 weeks. Right now my weight loss is slow enough, coz I really don't have that much to lose, but say yesterday for e.g. I did my weigh-in and I've lost 4lbs over 4 weeks. If I'd been weighing every week I prob would have gotten a bit downheartened, but 4lbs, for me, is a decent loss and it put a big smile on my face!!!

So maybe try and do it once every two weeks. That'll compensate for daily fluctuations. And more importantly, use clothes as a guage. Or a tape measure. And of course all those compliemtns you'll receive ;)

Thanks g'em. *Heads out to shed to get shovel to bury scales* God woman your restraint is AMAZING!!!!

Its near impossible for me to not weigh myself, don't know what to do, I am deadly serious about burying/hiding scales.

Clothes are definitely a good guage for me, trakkie bottoms nearly fell off last night :D Yahoo! But yet I seem to need to see it in black and white. Grrrr!:o

Probably referring to my post here, yeah? I reckon doing it daily and getting a running average to see the trend would work, you'd see the loss quite clearly but you'd still see the odd disheartening spike day to day, so it mightn't be for the OP. Anyone any thoughts? Whatever works for you I suppose.
