No laughing but i just pop a tiny but of tape of my earphones to keep them in when i am shadow boxing or doing bag work on my own. Not like anyone notices and i can't say i care if they do! :D

    Can you explain that?

After going through about a pair a month for the last year I bought a €6.99 pair of Panasonic earphones, no rubbery bits, just plastic in ear headphones. Best buy so far (have bought expensive and cheap) have lasted so far and the sound is great!

I have shure e3c's but they are €120, they are extremely good quality sound and they actually stick into your ear canal. There are cheaper in ear headphones too. Shure do e2cs for about €70, there are sony fontopias which are about €35 I think. If you asked in the gadget forum for the cheapest "in ear" earphones they may know, if price is an issue. "ear buds" are what you call the standard ipod earphones.

My e3cs used to break their "seal" the odd time, but never fall out, I now have special earpieces that never break the seal. You get other tips like foam earplugs that you roll in your fingers and stick deep in your ears.

great for noisy buses too, blocks out external sound.

    Hi,

Tape worked a treat for the fones - but now what to do with a neck hung swinging mp3 player ? - someone told me you can get arm slings for them ? - any ideas ? - or somekind of head sweat band to hold them in ?

For my MP3 player i just put it on my arm with a band. Depending on the type you have you can get loads of little things for them, like a little holder with a band on it to go around your arm.

ahh but you can get some cool tape - how about that nice disney stuff with mickey mouse and tigger, or if you are feeling like some terrorist/hostage chique you can go for gaffa tape or cable ties!
