I'd take the box that I keep every single one of my belongings in.

But if the box had somehow fallen ove and everything spilledout, then my 50" tv.

Anyone have the urge after seeing the thread title to sing:

"We don't need no water.. let the motherf#$ker burn.. burn motherf#$ker burn!"

    If so.. raise your hand!

    ** raises hand slowly **

I don't intend to burst your bubble Playgirl but people don't usually escape from burning buildings. Most would be killed from smoke inhalation long before the fire takes hold. It's usually only on TV that we see dramatic scenes of people escaping from fire ravaged buildings. It dosen't happen in real life.:(

That said I would take my valuable bank note collection. :)

well i'm not going to post a thread saying 'if your house is on fire you WILL die'.. that would be a bit depressing now wouldnt it??

Depends on what room i was in at the time.

If i was in the kitchen id make myself a sandwich with just a bit of ketchup!!
Sure my house would be burned down but id would not be hungry. A bit of a snack to watch the blaze.lol.:D

No really id probably take my laptop. Got all my music and stuff i need on it.

A pair of jeans! No point standing around in your underwear. But if that person with the cardboard cutout of ray darcy was nearby id take a pair of runners instead.

My photos or my laptop. Mostly my laptop. I've had one destroyed laptop in the last 3 months and had to start all over, I'm not doing that again!

Meh, I could do with the cash to be honest.

Only if there was something irreplaceable would I be concerned. I suppose my guitar case, it has every song I ever wrote in it, not that I ever play them, but I'd be pissed off if I lost them.

Call me sentimental but, ... my wallet.

Though living in the attic with a window above the kitchen extension and a wall beside that, I have a good escape route. So I'd probably have enough time to stuff a small bag with clothes, mobile, mp3 player, passport, shaver ...and some random item... maybe guitar (no not in the bag). But wallet first.

A particular photo of my brother, mother and I. In the picture I am less than 6 months old and am being carried in my mothers arms and am looking lovingly at my brother as he looks lovingly back. As long as my family and pets were OK I would not care though.

Not even if you had a particularly expensive tv/laptop/guitar/sex toy/insert random expensive object in the house?

No - in the end they can be replaced, that photo can not.

Sad as it is to say I have to grab the 'tower' part (or whatever it's called) of my computer. Not only could I use to break the corner of the window (always break the corner!) but it also has a lot of files on it that are updated daily hence my (oh to infrequently made) backup disks would only recover so much but not everything.

Anything I own that I've deemed irreplacable is kept outside in a well-secured shed so it doesn't matter (possession-wise at least) if everything else inside burns to bits.

My PC tower. Though, as it's insured, maybe an upgrade would be better! :)

Would prefer if the house didn't burn at all tbh, insured or not!
