I am in my early 50s I never had a weight problem till about 3 yrs ago... started putting it on slowly. Now I want to get rid of it. I am not a big eater.. I know I need to change some of my bad habits. sweets, etc. but I am seriously thinking of buying slendertone. Any advice would be appreciated.. are they any good? which one should I get? etc..??

I got one a few years ago and it was a complete waste of money.

As you said yourself, just cut out the sweets and start doing some exercise. Going to the gym is good but it's not the only way, even a good brisk walk for fifty mins four times a week will see results.

If you haven't exercised for a while then start slowly but increase the time with each walk until you hit the 50 min mark. And keep the pace brisk, you want to start sweating. You'll feel great.

That's what I did and it is the only way to lose weight and keep it off, where as Slendertone is just a good way to lose money.

Eh that just works the muscles but doesn't make you lose weight, take up running or swimming, I suggest swimming, I think its more fun :)

Eh, what just works the muscles????

And how will "just working the muscles" and watching what you eat not help you lose weight? What do you think that your swimming does?

Vagues posts are very little help to anybody, please elaborate more if you have any advice for the OP.
