After reading the thread on body-fat levels I thought it would be interesting to have a thread on this. So Ill give mine now

    height- 5'10
    weight- 224 pounds
    body-fat- 21%
    arms- 16.75 inches
    waist- around 40 I think

Iv been working out for 10 years, used to be much leaner (about 197 at 13% body-fat) up until about 3 years ago when I gained alot of fat. Hoping to lose and get back to the build I had back then in the next year.

    Hi,

I hope you're not just talking about bodybuilding, if you're not ...

I'm 38. I hadn't done any running for about ten years but last year I trained hard for a 10K race and surprised myself by doing a time of 45 minutes 5 seconds.

I trained hard to achieve this. When the race was over I slackened off the training again. Now I'm back in training for the same race (in May) and my goal is to beat last years time - on my runs right now I'm running at about 48 minutes for 10K.

I've started earlier this year so I should be able to beat my time - on my first "training" session last year I was so knackered and out of breath that I had to turn back for home at the first set of traffic lights.

Hopefully it will be a lovely summers evening like last year, the finish line is straight across the road from a pub - I'm looking forward to the ice cold cider as much as completing the race - you've gotta have a goal in your training !!

    age-24
    height- 5'7
    weight- 152 pounds
    body-fat- 11%
    arms- two:v:
    waist- 31.5

    Aims:

    1) To run 5.5km in 25 minutes which would be roughly averaging 13kph. I can do 10 minutes at that speed ok, but want to increase stamina.

    2) Bench press my own weight or higher(70kg+). I used to be able to do this at Uni, but now don't find the time to go to the gym regularly enough and eat enough to keep strength up. Currently can strain out about 3 sets of 4 or 5 reps at 60kg.

Hey guys, so I can't seem to drop 7lbs. No matter what I do. Have v healthy diet - very little bread, and always wholewheat, rarely carbs in the evening, and only museli/porridge for breakfast, lots of fruit, veg, nuts, salads, fish, very little meat. Loads of water.

Currently working out around 3-4 times a week - at least 30 mins cardio, sometimes an hour - either jogging or swimming. Taking up spinning classes soon. Weights twice/three times a week.

And I've been doing this for around nine months and I've actually put on weight. I know muscle weighs more than fat, but I'd still be hoping to drop a few pounds. Really want to get to my target weight, but am almost resigned now to that not happening.

    Any suggestions?

Want to get the bodyfat to 10%. It was 9% 6 months ago.

Improve strength. To improve bench press from 12x 40kg to 12x 60kg

Keep up the running. Ran 9km in 47mins last night. Was pretty chuffed as 2-3 mins was waiting at pedestrian crossings.
When I started running a few weeks ago I couldn't run 3km without doubling over with a stitch.

Cut out all junk food. Especially lucozade. Drinking a 2litre bottle right now. More additive than cigarettes. Not that I smoke.

Snik snik snik.....too late, my goal last year was to be able to manipulate the effects of gravity on my body to make me super heavy should i ever need to be. Got it down pat by June and then worked on manipulating the elements, which is an atomic bitch by the way. :D

Great definition and a superb body, the kind I'd find hard to articulate in words, but if you see any body building websites, then you'll know what I mean.
