Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has come across this.

When the car is going into 2nd gear the revs go high car slows down and the clutch bell spins the wrong way the clutch has to be stopped manually and then the car will go into 1st.?

    regards
    Weety

My Cen fun factors was very touchy with 2nd gear too, I hust gave up on it, I mean the thing went like a rocket anyway, but it IS irritating when that happens.

sounds to me kinda like your one way bearing is dirty and when the car hits into second gear the force on the bearing is causing it to slip, with causes the car to slow because there is no drive being transfered to the wheels. One way bearing is normally found connected to the 1st gear, clean it out with petrol , normally u would relubricate it with a special oil but i think u could get away with a drop of 3 in 1 maybe never tried it.
