Anyone know when the gym in the new Smithfield Market complex is supposed to open?

Good thing I saw this, was going to join Crunch Premiere in Temple Bar but this would be much handier.

I went to have a look today; well, I went to chat to them as the gym isn't opening until mid-November!

It's going to be on three floors all under ground-level. Will have 'the biggest pool in the city centre', 'huge' steam room and sauna, and jacuzzi up a level overlooking the pool.

The girl didn't exactly sell the place, she didn't mention what equipment they would have or what classes. They seem very disorganised for somewhere that's opening in 8 weeks!

And the price...if you join before they open, they give the first 500 joiners (and apparently "over 400" have joined so far) a years membership for:


€50 joining fee and €750 a year or €75 a month

If you join after they open it's:
€400 joining fee
€900 or €79 a month


Which is just outrageous! €1300 euro is an absolute joke.
