New Year's Resolutions for UCD

Well it's that time of year again where we all kid ourselves that the promises we make for 2006 will be fulfilled. So with that being said, what are your plans for UCD in 2006?

Behold my New year's Resolutions for 2006 in UCD:

- Do well in my exams.

- Cut down on the number of fines I get in the library.

- Go to the clubs/socs that I neglected in the first semester.

- Check out the famous girl in the SU library shop.

- Actually go to college. (Fairly important)

- Experience being drunk on campus for the first time

- Write about Pat P!

What are yours then?

Doing well in the exams would certainly be one thing. Work my arsé off to try and find a bassist for my band rather than just sitting by and hoping one will show up.
Oh, and go to the battle of the bands stuff!

- Go to my lectures

- Be nicer to my boyfriend (i'm awful mean to him)

- Study!!

That's about it as far really.
Have a fair few goals, but they are resolutions really, are they?

The most important one would of course be to pass my exams. Can't really afford to fail again!
Then, get to more TKD training.

Good luck, if you're up at an hour like this (like me ), it's one hell of a cycle to break. Take up manual labour during the day to exhaust you!

Anyway, I'm not a fan of New Years resolutions as they are bogey and always never turn out but mine is.....

hmmm...

-get chatting to more people!
-save some money so I can go away during the summer
-get organised asap (re: academics!) so that summer exams aren't as scary (to do this, I will buy a filing box, like this one :cool:). I will also at least PLAN essays as soon as I get them. I've realised that it's easy enough to write them once I get started -- so if I get started, I'll have more time and stuff... yeah.
-find out what scraggs looks like, cos she's the coolest person in the world
-can't think of any more at this moment.
-I will post again if I get inspired

-do well in exams, start on my thesis and then my fieldwork placement
-have a life too
-win the inter fencing tournament or at least get a reasonable position and to stop hitting guys in the crotch with my foil (although a point is a point)
-try and find time to do more artwork
-not to mix Oyster stout with any random beer, and avoid hangovers
-go parachute jumping
-be nice to all my ex's
- get out of bed before 11am
-build a website for my soc in college

-take a bit more of a risk when it comes to doing dangerous things,a bit like that daram bloke,whose always setting off fire alrams and walking underground etc

Get fit
Finally try sorting out this crooked tooth that makes me the most unphotogenic person in the world!

And boneless it is just physically impossible to eat a kebab sober your stomach will just repel it-im telling you.Also it is physically impossible to go into abrakebabra during the day-it is wrong and goes against all the laws of nature.Kebabs espec from abrakebra must only be consumed at 4 in the morning in a pretty intoxicated state!

Resolutions.....
1. Study the subjects i completely neglected last term
2. Cook proper food and not eat chips in UCD, in other words finish the year without some form of disease!
3. Go out a hell of a lot more than last term! a target not a project!
4. Try to be nice to all and sundry....except not nice people!
5. Find a nice girl....again more a target, not a project!
6. Torture myself into changing myself so that i can do with less than 10 hours sleep cos this system just aint working for me!
7. I'd say go to the gym or re-join a football team but thats not gonna happen so lets just say go for a run now and then
8. I'm sure there's more!........06 is the year for change....i can feel it in my eyelids....what?the phrase is bones?? Ok wel then i can feel it in my bones!
