Marathon Training

    Signing up for the Berlin marathon anybody some good tips on training. I normally just run up to 1/2 marathons tho I have run up to 20 miles ( only not in a race ). Would be hoping for 3 hrs40 to 50. ( Male 40 yrs if that helps !!! )

    Looooooooooooads of good sites on marathon training and its all about putting in the miles.

    If you are serious use a heart rate monitor for the various sessions i.e. some days are fast interval and some are long and slow 2hr sessions

    Oh and as i always recommend - get fitness tested
