is it close to the luas stop?
going to move in the next couple of months, and having an accessible decent gym is a factor.

It wouldn't really be walking distance (unless you wanted a long walk): Map for Total Fitness Sandyford

I think the Westwood in Leopardstown Racecourse would probably be closer (taking the shortcut through Leopardstown Business Park and around the back of Microsoft), about a 15 min walk.

I know it's O/T but the transport situation for Total Fitness is laughable. There isn't a recognisable bus service that goes anywhere near it, and the Luas is miles away at the bottom of a massive hill. It's great for the people who live inches away but typical of what's happening out in the whole Dundrum area. They keep building more and more apartments in addition to the commercial centre there now, without developing the secondary roads or public transport.

It's because CIE are lazy and their workers will strike as soon as a bus route is proposed there (see s.14 Transport Reorganisation Act 1986).

Basically, don't go there unless you have a car.
