I started Saturday with a €15 buy in from my Credit card, Since then I have cashed out €500 yesterday and today i cashed out €300

How it all started was i bought in to a seat SST $15+$1.50 and won, then with that i played a 50 SST and won, then with that played a little $1/$2 nl got my stack up and then played 2 more $50 SST and won.

with some more $1/$2 and get it up and cashed out..

to today i started with €58 that was left in my account after i cashed out yesterday, and today has been just as good, cashed out €300 about 2 hours ago , leaving me with $35 and i'm coming close to $100 as i'm at the table now.

anyone else find people on PPP are looking to give there money away lol..

i posted a while back that i thought Pokerstars was better then PPP and someone said i would be back at PPP soon,,, boy where they right,

Its terrible bankroll management imo. Winning a $15 STT and then moving up to $50 STT using all your winnings smells like nothing more then a gambler imho. And if you play poker simply as gambling you will have great variances, like starting with $15 and cashing out $800. But much like a certain Stu Ungar you are unlikely to ever be flush with cash from poker for too long a time.

For stts you should have 20+ buyins for the level youre playing so when you had 50 you should have just kept playing $5 stts until you have enough buyins to move up, this way you wont need to reload very often and you will have a far better chance of winning

or try playing shorthanded...you will get away with around 12 buyins

You don't think 12 buyins for playing 6 handed STTs is sufficient...?

NeVeR, if all you need to do is take your credit card out again, then what you are doing will work. But for me who started on a 10 euro buy (brag brag :D) and cant afford to be plugging 50 in every time i lose, its not the same

I play STT's on PPP. What i do is simply make sure whatever im buying into, is less than 10% of my bankroll not in play. I go up and down levels accordingly. Withdrawing means just dropping levels, I was just between $25 and $50 games (which means i can only play $25 games) before i went down to $5 and $10's again. When i was around the $225 mark and 4 tabling, it meant i was playing one $20, two $15's and a $10 cuz with each game i entered my bankroll would fall. I'm trying my hardest to stick to this. Mainly this system prevents gamblers ruin. It also broke down the mental barriers between these levels "Is $20 tougher than $10? etc."

The only problem I find with this is you only start making good money as you rise, and can be frustrating being stuck around at $5/$10 when you were just playing $25's. Just keep a cool head. My 0.02c

    Anything wrong with this system?

Great advice.. thanks. I started a bankroll system from what one of the posters above said, I started at $5 games , played about 15 last night, won some lost some, but didnt go broke..

so i'm going to stay at this system and see how i get on, thanks.

nothing wrong with lodging 15 quid on a poker site for a flutter and then trying to build it up quickly into something decent.

it mightn't be the way to make a living off poker but it can be fun now and then, just like putting a tenner on a horse...

btw there's a guy who posts here looking for tips on how to win consecutive STTs too :v:

Actually, i've been quiet about it because there's very little to report. I haven't had much time at all to play poker this week due to lack of time (mostly from switching jobs). In total, i've probably played about 15-20 sng's this whole week.
