Maybe I'm just not down with the Dublin plebs, but I haven't heard any suggestions. Anyone know of any?

    The statue

He was a junkie... he was funky- nah I'm no good at this.

I think we're too busy working and making money to pay the bills these days to involve ourselves in such frivilous activities as making jokes, naming statues or going to the pub to meet with friends. ;)

Some head of hair on Phil though... some head of hair.

    The Afro off Grafto

I, however, always have time for such names and such, and see them as essential to society...

It's not bad but to be classed as a proper Dublin nickname, it's got to be longer and be in the form of "The ***** with the *****" or "The ***** in the *****" and that's official.

The tart with the cart, the nail in the pale etc.

'Still Phil' and/or 'The Ace with the Bass' are good enough for me.

I will now make a point of referring to it as such when in conversation with the others.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 98 ✭✭grasshopper

    the bronze fonz??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,577 ✭✭✭Heinrich

    The namestyles:

    The prick with the stick
    The tart with the cart
    The hags with the bags
    The erection at the intersection
    The skut on the butt

    and sadly no more

The whore in the sewer ot
    The floosie in the jacuzzi.

    so

Tin Lizzie and the like is a no go!
