Why Kilkenny is better than Waterford

I'm fed up of all the Kilkenny bashing by Waterford People.
So put in your reasons here is why there talking crap.

1. Kilkenny City best place for a night out in Ireland

just accept the fact that waterfod is better than kilkenny, people come here to spend their money instead of financially helping kilkenny, a lot of kilkenny people come tosupport Waterford United, i meet a few of them every week. so jus face it, waterford is better

I half agree. There is a lot of them there. Some ok, some real rowdy pr*cks. Im from Wexford and the people there are alot more friendly.

coming from a waterford person kilkenny is a very decent night out alright, but waterford also has tramore and dungarvan which can be good nights out tramore especially during august.

Pity county kilkenny looks like 1953

A city with great craic, great people, great restaurants, great pubs, great hurlers sure jaysus what else would ya want!!!

Some city , you can walk from one end of it to another in ten minutes The only good thing to come out of it is the road to Waterford {a real city by the way}

Kilkenny is indeed a very nice place, it reminded me of Galway but a lot smaller.

Kilkenny is the home of hurling & IMO the main reason why Waterford folk continuously bash us would be connected either directly or indirectly to this.
I live in Waterford, nothing really wrong with the place or its people in the main, but, their is only one place I'd ever call "home".
How lucky we all are to be from KKland.

Well I worked in KK for the best part of three years and have been to Waterford many times, I personally don't think there's much to Kilkenny, it's a nice big town with some good places to go out at night but there isn't a whole lot more to it. If you're not into drinking, KK is not a great place.

Might be true of the GAA fraternity - doesn't really bother me....I don't follow it. Same old jaded argument trotted out year in year out..well I suppose there's not much else (as the other posters pointed out) there so it's the highlight of your year!

People from from kilkenny have given alot to waterford in all fairness, dont forget a lot of people from wexford work in waterford as well, there the worst drivers ive ever seen.
