Bleedin' radiators

    Hi all,

There's a radiator in my house (just the one, for some strange reason - house is just one year old - awww) that never gets up to the correct temperature. It's been bled countless times (I guess the fact that it's been bled more than once is a problem indicator in itself), and will get up to temperature for a short while, but it's not long before the temp drops significantly again, meaning another bleedin' session's in order. Any ideas what's up, and what can I do to remedy the problem?

    Cheers,

    G

Could be a problem with the pump not being strong enough to pump all the way round the system....is the radiator one of the furthest away from the boiler ??

Here we go again :D:D:D Only joking honest :)
If you are continuously getting air in the system, then you most likely do not have enough water in the system. Try and find some of the recent discussions on the subject.

Ah. I see. :) I'll have a look there, then.

p.s. It's not the furthest from the boiler, and the rads beyond it heat up just fine. Hopefully the other thread holds the answers (dons Indiana Jones hat)...
