Law? Med Heads? Orts? Science? Engineers? hmm... think traditionally people think the BCL's are snobby, not so sure myself.

Me thinks there are snobs in every class...so in that regard i say civil engineers!..

H Dips in Micro!! Cause we're soo cool!
I heard the Corp Laws are fairly what would be termed as 'snobby', and careerist and study mad...

Engineers hate everyone else because they have the most hours, BCL's hate Corp Law's because Corp's are employable and get to go on Erasmus.

    Without a doubt...the B. Corps are the snobbiest...no contest!

Med Students are, by far, the worst. Anyone can get 600 points in their leaving if they sit it four times!

I lookdown upon all other students - bar the real sciences and fellow Nunlanders . Ergo, Elec Eng students are by far the superior student.

would i be right in saying everyone is better than an arts student?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,048 ✭✭✭Amazotheamazing

Even the underagers who drink buckfast on the presidents lawn are better than Arts students, and the sad thing is Arts students know this and agree.

    Define 'better'.

Everyone else will be vaguely employable :)

In terms of a certain faculty, the Law people have always been a tad aloof.
In terms of one particular person, Syxpak. Although I do have to laugh at his "biscuits" description...

No. Commerce is for people who were too thick to do Arts.

Thanks, I've never heard myself described as snobbish before. Condescending, cynical, elitest, miserable, cantakerous - sure.

Nobosy's bitter towards anyone. It's just oh hoh, I'll join in the crowd and say the same old ****ing pathetic jokes about the stereotypical course heads. Commerce birds glow in the dark. IT heads have no real time friends.
Arts heads work in Supermacs. Jesus, that ****'s so ****ing old.

Engineers need not be concerned with trivial things like roads.
    Well the real engineers.

Civil Law.... worse than Corporate I think.

Lived with Civil Law ppl last year -- bitches. Live with Corp Law & French ppl this year -- nicest ppl in the world. but then, they dislike a lot of their class....

I think you are mistaken!!! i do believe commerce is more points and that arts people just didnt know what to do! in all fairness it has to be one the most unemployable degrees! You actually have to do a post grad. to get a proper job! Engineering have to be the snobbiest people ive ever met, corp law a close second!!!!!

    Damn right!

The med heads (especially 1st meds) are very snobbish. Two years of dealing with them in the labs and i'm surprised no-one has gotten a face full of acid.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,817 ✭✭✭✭po0k
