    Hi,
Just looking for some feedback/advice on my current weight loss situation.

    I'm 25 and 6ft 3. Have recently dropped from 19stone to 17stone.
I did it through diet and excercise.
    Diet:
    morn - 1 bowl cereal (rice krispies/cornflakes) + 1fruit (apple or orange)
Lunchtime - chicken salad + 2 pitta bread/slice brown bread
    + fruit throughout the day
Evening - fruit, raw veg, soup, pittabread/brown bread

Training - 30 mins running 3 times per week.

I wasnt very strict on myself and if I had a bad week, let's say a chinese some night with pints or something I would revert to the above diet for a couple of days and managed to keep my weight in check at 17stone once I lost it. I did it gradually too and the above wasnt every day. I could have a roll for lunch the odd day and cook a full dinner the odd evening etc . I also took the weekends off and didnt really restrict weekend drinking at all.

Anyways the last couple of months have been a bit crazy in that I've been out partying quiet a lot. at least 4-5 nights per week and Im never very good for motivation after a session so I put on 5-7 pounds without realising it. I've now lost this few pound again and stabilised once more at 17stone.

The point is I just feel like im f*cking about weight loss wise and cant seem to get things together. Im pretty good at sticking to structured training programs but seem to have lost my structure. As in this week I did 3 nights in a row 30mins running, ate healthy and could of even gone again in the mornings. (didnt want to overdo it). The week before did 1 night and ate full dinner every evening. Pizza one night!!

Note I really hate cooking dinner in the evenings as I dont have the time for anything
So starting next monday the plan is:

    Ultimate Goal -15stone
Initial goal - as near 16 stone as possible by christmas

    breakfast: 1 bowl cereal.1 fruit

During day - 3-4 litres of water.
Lunch - soup and 2 slice brown bread/gluten free bread/pitta bread
1 fruit. 1 fat free yogurt
    or chicken salad

    Dinner - beans + 2 pitta + soup/yogurt
or salmon + stirfry veg + rice(1 portion)

rivita biscuits for snacking on but will try and not eat after 7.

    training:
I could easily do monday to thursday next week 30 mins everynight. I would vary the intensity every second night and make sure to warm up and down and stretch.

Alternatively I could maybe drop one evening session and go for a light jog in the mornings 20 mins?

Also every evening and morning 40 push ups + 30 situps

Also there are plans to start 1 evening of astroturf soccer next week

Im not in a gym. I could probably join but prefer training outdoors.
I could buy cheap weights if necessary but I have always felt I need to lose weight before I start messing with weights. I could do all my muscle training through squats. push ups, chin ups, etc

    all feedback appreciated.

well i'm no expert by far but here's my opinion...

You should probably stop training 3-4 days in a row, take it every second day or something. Give your body time to rest.

Maybe increase your running, if you've always ran 30mins then your body would have gotten used to it by now and it's not doing as much as you first thought, up it to 45mins. Or maybe try HIIT, like 5mins light jogging, 2 mins sprinting etc..

You don't seem to have a balanced diet, you seem to be eating very little, remember eating less won't make you loose weigh, what you're eating is fine but try introducing more protein into your diet, fish, lean beef etc etc.. Eat 5 or 6 small meals a day rather than 3 full meals.

Try and introduce more weights, push ups and sit ups are great but again your body gets used to it and you have to up the antee, get some freeweights, using weights when doing your sit ups etc, have a weight on your chest (best to make sure you're doing everything right before doing this, don't want to hurt yourself.)

It's great that you've lost 2 stone though, that's a lot of weight, how long did it take?

Maybe try and clean up your binges, just think before you order that curry, you're taking two steps forward and then one step back, is it worth it? Maybe stick to spirits rather than beer..

Keep it up though, i'll be in the same position come Monday, i'm starting back in the gym and i need to loose about 4 stone:(
