I haven't seen it in the flesh myself yet :D
I bought it subject to an inspection and had someone from the Fiat Club inspect it thoroughly.
It has been very well looked after, 2 owners and only 45,000 miles on the clock.
It needs a few very minor things sorting, and I will re trim the interior as sun damage has taken its toll.

this is my genuine Gartrac G6 roadcar, one of very few road cars built by
Gartrac, bought it in Eastbourne about 5 years ago. the original 2.8 V6 has
been replaced by a Cosworth YB. i am almost finished restoring it now, but
cash is scarce so it's off the list of priorities for a bit! not sure if i'll put the YB
back into it when the time comes, it is cheap and easy power though!

i'll post more pictures later, they're all over the place on my computer so i'll need to find them first!

    Hi ki,

    Thanks...

Nope I'm the 3rd owner of her now here in Ireland, my understanding is that she was brought from the States into the UK at some point & was restored there before she found her way to our shores.

My Bedford TK, ex-Arklow appliance I bought a few years ago, parked up in the yard and not really touched it since (other projects & work). De-hibernated it yesterday and it only needs repaint and kitting out, ready for a few shows.

One of the last TK's built, and like most fire engines looks ancient even when new. Most of them built went to Belfast, two made it to Wicklow in September 1987, this one survives the other met it's fate in Monaghan a few years ago. It's certainly a no frills design, with flat windscreen, sliding windows, no sound proofing, stack exhaust, heavy clutch and vague gears, but it's a great laugh once you get used to it.

Surprisingly, no rust anywhere thanks to a completely aluminium body and cab. It only has 20,000 miles too - verified, so the chassis is in top order too. Just needs some TLC and putting all the gear I got for it into the lockers!
