dunno if this is a repeat thread etc, apologies if so, havent got time to look too far.

anyways, for those of you who don't know, Bigfoot is in GTA SA. He lives in the mountains and there has been a challenge to photograph him and get it online. think it was on the Rockstar site.

seriously though, i never ceased to be amazed what bored nerds do in their spare time but i draw a line at faking a bigfoot in a video game.

There are several supposed paranormal encounteres in san andreas bigfoot, leatherface, ghosts, ufo but none of them have been confirmed by rockstar but the jury is still out. I must admit that the second pic is the 'realist' looking one ive seen so far.

yes because in the code it's in the "bigfoot" sub proceedure. it's probably just a normal person with a hairy skin.

apparently there's ufo's too, in the desert.. and they interrupt your radio. haven't gotten it at all but now with bigfoot being seen, i will be looking. the truth is out there.

I've Been doing me some snooping around the wed, and have come acros a faction message bored called GTA: SA Myths and Legends and in one of the threads, the Admin has put up some vital info (if i'ts true), which he received from this guy:

- You can only find Bigfoot between the hours of 12:00 to 20:00

- You also must be wearing a Trucker Cap, a Plaid Shirt, and blue jeans

Dunno if this works, but the guy claims he has only seen it in Back O' Beyond, in them cloaths, and never in the Airport. Anyway it is still worth a shot.

Starting at Angel pine caravan park about 15.00 head north east across the wooden bridge, then heading east towards back o beyond (i looking at the map now)when you cross river and in back o beyond, head south the last hill before the road (U shaped on map) i seen him walking across top of it , in my panic to get photo i tried to drive up , car flipped bounced rolled by time i ran up he was gone , spent another 2 hours looking , nowt.

But he was there

it's such a genius - i heard there were fake web sites etc made to promote the game.

i'm willing to bet that there is a big foot and Rockstar released a 'screen grab' and the 'real screen grab' Krusty linked to. they have started their own mini conspiracy theory the best type of viral promotion you can get.

if it's true about the close encounters in the desert, interfering with your radio etc, i'm going to marry this!

however why then in the back of the book does it say thanks to bigfoot?
do they mean the monster truck making people?... surely not because no cars are associated with real manufacturers.....

even if it is false, and he doesnt exist - i will still find him .

I agree, the first shot, I've seen proof of it being fake.

But, maybe, do you think they've made him too rare? As in, there's only a 1 in a million chance you'll find him even if you search for ages?

The only thing I can think of is that Rockstar have come up with a particular method to find him, which until he is found, they won't release.. I'd prefer the second option as I really do want to see him.

Assuming the 1st pic is real it would be easy to script in a simple piece of code to allow the player to see him at a certain distance , but if i had of got the car up i would have ran him over , stupid sheer rock face

i found some more weird sh*t though
a place up in the desert where the ground just burst into flames by itself and kept burning.
another thing in back o beyond where bigfoot supposedly lives i keep finding loads of smashed up cars..... whats all that about?
the camera is the best thing to bring with you its got a hell of a zoom on it, really comes in handy. i also swam out to sea for about an hour didnt find anything bar a few dolphins and jellyfish, nothing exciting there but ive been using the jetpack alot too since i found out how to spawn a jetpack i always have one - pretty handy :cool:

Did anyone hear of anything like this in Vice city? While i was playing i fell in the water from a boat a shark came and ate me? Now i was kinda drunk at the time and everyone ive told said im making it up but i swear to god that it happened, this bigfoot has made me stop doubting myself, anyone else heard/seen this?

you dont need a flash or curtains pulled. just make sure the shutter speed is set slower that 1/25 of a second.

Their are ghost cars, or ghost boats as i have also seen.

The most interesting thing i think is the roumered spotting or leatherface....complete with chainsaw, seen plenty of pics and a video, some looked real fake, some looked good.......The search continues

Basically, any pic with bigfoot in the corner where it's dark is bs, there shouldnt be any reason why you cant take a close-up pic unless ofc he's far away and moves out of shot
