    http://www.limerick-leader.ie/issues/20041120/news03.html

It would seem that certain individuals have found a new passtime to occupy themselves while they're waiting for something human to shoot.

all I can say is, what a sick bunch of individuals we have in this town.

how can people do this to such beautiful animals. I was on the ISPCC website yesterday reading shocking stories. Some really horrific pictures on there. It made me open a standing order with them.

now onto concern or some organisation like that.

There was a horrendous picture of one of the swans that was shot on the front of the Leader last night, but the leader have put some grusome pictures of tortured animals on their paper before, it does not seem to affect peoples attitudes.

What are your thoughts on the UK banning Fox Hunting.

I agree that it should be banned.

The sad part is that swans mate for life.
Some cob or pen is now alone for the rest its life.

I didn't know that hagar, and when you add to the fact that these are listed as a protected species, that makes it even more serious. The government dont make a species protected unless they are in some danger of dissappearing. If they mate for life and one of them is killed, no more new stock of swans.
