What is the best fitness routine to maximise fitness levels and keep playing with as much energy in the last minute as the first (maybe not the same but close to it!)?

also what is the best diet?

    thx

Isn't there a soccer board? There's plenty of expertise over there. :D

basically all i do is stamina excercising and aerobic excercising to make me last the full 90 mins. plenty of jogging and running, if you're near a beach run on the sand.

Don't run on the sand - its okay from time to time but it can cause Achilles tendon problems. Run on grass/trails and the knees will be okay.

Do plenty of sprint work and jogging, try and do your running on grass with plenty of hills for stamina.
On you jogs vary your pace go from light to hard and back to light again it realy helps your lung capacity its sort of simulates you actualy playing a match.
