Let's write a story

I start off with a sentance. the next person adds to it and so on until we have a best seller.

ok here we go...


He stabbed out his cigarette and walked towards the window.

Evil Phil

Outside the slick pavement reflected blinking neon.

He then said to his investagator "I want you to find the Son of a Bítch who killed my daughter!"

His wife tinkled the meds around the plastic cup. "Dear", she said, "you better take your medication. You know how your heart gets."

he popped 2 of the small yellow pills.

luckily for him, they were dodgy 'e' pills, with anadin written on them.

This was lucky because he had built up a natural immune to dodgy 'e' pills with anadin written on them during the war, so they had no more affect on him than 5 tubes of 'Smarties'.

at the thought of the war, the flashbacks started again... all the gunfire, his 3 years in a pow camp...

And then the horrible sound of the Pow-Wows got to him. He shrieked and pounding his fist against his head. Bang. Bang. Bang.

Black. All he could see was black.

Until His Wife Turned On The Light's.

He was lying on a hospital bed, surrounded by a doctor, 3 nurses, his wife and a man in a sailor suit all looking at him.

"where... where am I?", he asked.
the sailor replied grimly....:

"His chances of survival are low" said the Doctor, Tom requested a few moment alone with his wife, He wanted to talk to her.

The doctors and nurses left the room, leaving the man, his wife and the sailor alone. Then, following a long stare from the man's wife, the sailor reluctantly left the room aswell.

Beep Beep Beep went the machine constantly,
Doctor's and nurse's ruched into the room to find the plug in the sailer's hand, the tryied despritly to save Tom's life, only to find that he was already half way to the light. One of the doctor's shouted "SECURITY!" Security rushed into the room.

One of the security guards looked over to see the life support machine unplugged.

"GET HIM!!!" shouted one of the security guards, The sailer dropped the plug, and ran as fast as he could.

he sprinted down the long hallway and dove out through the window, landing on the roof of a 67' chevy. The driver fled her vehicle in terror and the sailor rolled off, undamaged, and hopped in

He didn't see the old lady on the ground that had fallen out of her wheelchair,

As the sailor rounder the corner onto Route 461 (southbound) he looked, with a look of horror on his face, at the fuel meter nearing the large E

It wasn't long before the car was out of petrel, The cops were a fair bit behind him, so he found a gun in the glove compartiment of the car, He though to himself... He jumped out of the car and pointed the gun at on-comming traffic, and one of the car's stopped, he pulled the man out of the car, jumped in and sped away.

He turned around to see a 3 year old child sitting in a baby chair on the back seat. in the mean time the driver of the car who was going histerical over his child's safety, was being sustained by a police officer.

Okay, okay, I'll start.

The sailor drove as fast as he could, running red lights and forcing cars off the road. Sweat trickled down his face, and as he wiped it away the blood smeared across his brow from the open wounds on his arms.

It wasn't long before the news crew and helicopters were following him, He was getting close to the freeway, there wasn't very long, and he was running short of idea's until.

he noticed a small side road leading towards the docklands..

thinking he was in the clear, he turned on the radio to the southern classics channel for some good getaway music. a wry smile spread across his lips as the state border was only 20 miles south

Evil Phil

Mean while, back at the hospital; Tom's suprise recovery continues. "He's heading for the border", Tom muttered to himself as the chase unfolded live on CNN.

Bard

What Tom didn't know about, of course, was the dangerous, heaving, purple object under the very bed he was in.

it stired to life grabbing one of the nurses, then a sound like chalk squiking could be heard "Salior where are you" ?

Back at the Hospitol the doctors never give up CPR and eventually our hero pulls through. "You nearly died son" siad the doctor. "Is the war over doc?" he asked.

"Yes son, it was nasty, nearly a full blown flame war with killer robots and a rouge trouser press. But its over now. You can expect flash backs, but its just your mind talking Boll*x".

"Now get autta here, your wife has ben kidknaped by some sailor type!"

All of a sudden tom started to seize up. "MENDOSA!!" he roared "MENDOSA!!"
"who is Mendosa??" the doctor asked.

Meanwhile; Tom's hippy wife "Cloud" came down of the acid and realized that the killer robots and giant purple monster things never actually existed. "Phew", she said, "Now we can get back to the story!".

So, as already stated, Tom was making a suprise recovery and muttering "He's heading for the border". With that, Tom jumped up and ran out to the helicopter pad ...

Fat Sunny

Not seeing a helicopter disheartned our hero, so he gloomily returned to his bed where he was injected with morphine to keep him at bay.

He lay in his drug indced haze for what seemed like hours.
His mind flickering, trying to retrace the tracks of what had just happened.
Meanwhile the sailor was nearing the border

The child kicked and screamed irritably in the back of the car. The Sailor began to think that the child was becoming too much of a burden evvin if she was good for hostage purposes.

with the sailor on the run with a defenceless hostage, tom remembered the first time he had seen the sailor, and wondered how the sailor had managed to convince his wife and the doctors to let him into the hospital room in the first place. he wondered if his wife was in league with the sailor. is he right or is the morphine making him ill.

The morphine wore off and tom jumped up out of his bed.
he knew he must get away, if his wife was in league with S.O.O.T. then the doctors and the whole damn hospital probably were too.
A fat orderly approached tom with a needle but he quickly snatched it, plunging it into her face and running for the door.
In the cold dark carpark, tom stood naked, a needle his sole weapon.
He looked to the border and contemplated his next move...

He stumbled about in it a bit, then took off down the stret, needle held out before him to stab any on-lookers...he could trust no one at this point. Behind him he heard screams as an old lady came across his pile
"Memo to self", he thought, " lay off the all-bran"

damn, he said. "i almost had the sailor. lets load it up again." then it all went black again.... he found himself back in the program. will he catch the sailor this time??

He leaned outside the window and loking down he was surprised to see a canal flowing past where the gleaming pavement lay in his previous mission.
