i dunno, do you have the co-ordination for the dancing thing?
im not sure what the story is with those, i know they have special workout modes designed to get your heart pumping, and i've tried it myself and found it fairly taxing, but i lost interest because i couldn't keep up.
i simply didn't have the co-ordination for them, i cant see to grasp complicated aerobics either, but thats just me.

Can the rowing machine for 75 euro as there is only one rowing machine worth buying and that is the www.concept2.com and it is a bit more than 75 but worth every last cent.

At home you could buy a skipping rope or get a bench/platform of about 12-16inches high and just step up and down alternating legs for say 10mins initially if you can last 10mins as this is bloody hard but it is bloody cheap as well! :D

If you really want to get set up with a dance mat, you can do it for a lot less than €60. If you go to GAME, you can get an 8 step dance mat with one of the PS1 Dancing Stage games for €30-ish. Also the Dance XL mat only works with that particular game, so if you ever wanted to get another game to go with it, you'd have to buy a whole new dance mat.

Rowing is a good workout, but for something to do at home I would personally find it particularly boring.

The concept 2 is never really boring, what it is, is never easy. If one has correct technique and 99.99% of the population do not then even going light is hard. It is without doubt the best piece of cardio equipment £ for £ some of these machines rack up 29,000km a year and keep going and going with minimal maintenance.

If you did 20-30 mins 4-5 times a week you would see massive changes in your physique - arms, butt you name it, this hits it.

    The Erg
    In the basement
    Cold and dark
    Like a winter night,
    Like the animal's lair
    .
    The machine
    The measure of my soul
    When the ice lies heavy
    On the water
    .
    Most days,
Just the test of my will
    To go on, to endure
To build for the Spring, yet dormant
    .
    Some days,
    Close my eyes
    Feel the water,the warmth
    The power, the grace
    .
    Some days,
    Torture my body
    The splits will not fall
    The body is weak, lethargic
    .
    No matter
    The machine cares not
    Frustration, rage, pleading
    Boil, burn me all over
    .
    Some days,
My power, my strength, my will
    Reign supreme
My body, the numbers, do my bidding
    .
    The animal inside,
    Unleashed, raging, triumphant
    Seeking to destroy, annihilate
    The machine

This poem refers to the Concept 2 ergometer. We are not aware of the author save for it must have been a rower. If you know who wrote it please let us know.
