Change Amps Username Pledges Only Please

This is in danger getting lost in the"Can I change my username thread" and such a deserving cause deserves a thread all of its own.

A number of users have pledged to donate cash to the Santa Strike Force if the Admins will change Amps username to Pam until Christmas. Find out more about the Santa Strike Force here

The pledges currently stand at €89 if you want to contribute add you pledge
and it would be helpful if you put the new total in your pledge post.

€150 (so far) for me to change my nick. 150 quid that would make sick kids happier this christmas. Bit of a no brainer really.

Frankly I'm overwhelmed that people would donate money just to make me look a little sillier. But that's boards for you. It makes me wonder what other parts of amp I can sell to generate more even more money for SSF.

If any wealthy users/companies are reading this, I'll happily sell space in my sig for links to your websites if you donate large amounts to SSF. I'll even change my avatar/tag to the highest bidder.

I've seen the result of last years SSF. It brought happiness to a lot of sick kids who have done nothing wrong. That there are people out there that care and are willing to actually do something about it makes me smile.

By the way, SSF goes large next week. I havent been slack but SSF is like a rollercoaster, once you get on and pull down those restraints, its pretty much a ride that I only claim, unconvincingly, to have any control over. Preparation is the key and I need to give the structure some more head time.

The whole thing is really rather daunting too though SOO many people have offered assistance at this point that it is a full time job JUST coordinating the assistance on offer!

Hold out for 200 Amp, dont sell yourself cheap!

As regards what total that the name change occurs. I think €500 is a reasonable amount to aim for between now and Xmas. So get pledging.

Cool that brings the total so far to Just over €200. The quicker the cash is pledged the longer Pam/Amp has to suffer so spread the word people.

Current bid for avatar and tagline is €20 (from agent smith, €10 + €10), no public offers for the sig yet, but there must be a company out there wants that valuable advertising space. Hands up who reads amps/pams posts? Loads of us...

Now DapperGent, is that €10 for the name change, or will you take on agent smith for the av/tag combo?
