Recommendation of Free/Cheap Usenet Server

I access the 'net through Digiweb, who don't currently offer an NNTP server. I've tried accessing servers through free server search pages such as http://freenews.maxbaud.net/, but these invariably either don't offer posting rights, disappear after a few days, or just don't work.

So I'm looking for with a free or cheap (<€5 per month) server, which has a good selection of groups and posting rights. I'm not interested in binaries, so don't mind a server with no binary groups or with small upload/download quotas (50MB a month should be OK I reckon).

www.teranews.com offer access with a one-off fee of $3.95; has anyone had an experience with them? All other suggestions welcome too,

    Thanks,

    P.

http://www.individual.net/ is free, with registration. Good selection of newsgroups, and allows posting.

And you can access the ie.* newsgroups on news.boards.ie
