Same thning happened me, did anyone actually get the t-shirt?? Smells fishy to me! I did stick the massive sticker across my mate's (who's a Garda :D) windscreen though. Needless to say he wasnt too impressed! So it was worth it for that little bit of fun I got from it, an otherwise USELESS freebie!

Just came accross this link on a Facebook ad.
Dunno if they're any good or are just collecting marketing info.

    http://irelandfreestuff.com/lead/?id=2815&clickid=55561e7acf72662fda1a583cc3916acb.2815.7060.

i think they most be just collecting info as i signed up aswell but can't find anyway of getting free stuff off them.

Free footie jersey of your choice (after you place a £50 bet on the winner of a European league - I chose Inter to win league and ordered a long-sleeved Celtic Jersey!)

If you want to make it "FREE" do the following.
Back a team at very low odds to win any league i.e. Celtic at 4/5, Bayern Munich etc then join Betfair if not a member and LAY the same team to win the league.
Depending on how and when you do it, it shouldn't cost any more then max €1-2 loss either way so in effect you are getting the jersey for a very little.
I did it last year and got the jersey for nothing :D
You could do the bet as normal and take the chance the team wins the league but you could end up losing the €50, (you could also win) but that's your choice.

Certainly sounds fishy to me, seems they must have preselected who was going to get these before they opened the offer to the public!

    Complete tosh.

I signed up to a phonevolts freebie several months ago. Kept getting frequent emails and the unsubscribe option didn't work, nor did contacting them directly (they were unable to remove me from the list apparently!)
I eventually got removed (IIRC I threatened something about the data protection commissioner to them)

    Whats the point of this?

It is against the rules. You're shilling sites that you have an affiliation with, ones that pay you for referred players that sign up.

Best to remove it. Post reported.

Try www.wastematchers.com for free stuff that other people no longer use! It's a good spot to find a new home for items you no longer use too!

    post reported?

    no idea what "shilling" is...
so I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it.

if I am, I'm certainly not being paid.

Don't think he was talking to you. Somebody had posted a link to a load of referral sites after you posted but they have now been deleted so it just looks like he was talking about you.

My tuppence- They were handing out flyers at that Toys for Big Boys thing in the RDS, inviting people to join theri mailing list and recieve Mystery Free Gift, I signed up (with my spam-friendly email address I use to sign up to any of these "amazing offers") and i recieved the afrorementioned useless neck-string for a mobile phone PLUS about 500 spammy emails from them since, i wouldnt bother with it, as a word of advice, unless of course you really want to hang your phone around your neck (I'd rather hang MYSELF then go around with my phone swinging from my neck).
