    I'm a CA Alumni, graduated in 2001.

The best thing about being an alumni is all the offers you get from DCU to give them money...

    Ditto, first year. w00t.

What's with all the CAers? Is it a 100-person course or what?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,761 ✭✭✭✭Winters

I think it was about 160 at the start of last year. But dropped to about 120 or 140 by the end.

Tis the largest course afaik, so meet any male who goes to DCU and you can guess CA, 1/2 the time you would be correct. Ive been in nightclubs and been tapped on the shoulder by fellow drunks saying "You do CA in DCU!" and I go "Yeah!!!" .... Ah, I miss drink, its been over 12 hours.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 999 ✭✭✭Raz

It was a 400 person course five years ago!

CA will probably drop below that soon. We started with around 160, and there's just over 80 people on the passlist. (After repeats)

    Yikes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,216 ✭✭✭phreak

    wheres the list phaxx?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 309 ✭✭spoon

i think our year was was pretty much the same numbers. But you'll get a few repeating 2nd years that bring up the numbers too.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 274 ✭✭adjodlo

This year I'd say there'll be far less in the course, as I personally know one person who couldn't get in (for the second year running - god loves a tryer :D) because of the 300 point drop off.

Then again all us smelly repeats will be there to make up numbers as spoon said.
