My younger brother uses www.scoilnet.ie, they have a section that concentrates on different topics relevant to the junior cert curriculum. This week they have useful information on the atom. understanding of this topic is crucial to the chemistry section of JC science.

Not a website, but a course. Pimsleur (language courses used by the CIA, excellent courses - I'm doing the Japanese one at the moment) has a course in Munster Irish on CD or tape, available from amazon.com at around $12.

It's a very basic course, but will get learners over those annoying glitches that get between you and the language. And the courses are fun to do - save them as mp3s and put them on a portable player and you can do the lessons while you're doing your household jobs, cycling to school and so on.

Add Junior Cert links here. If they're good, you get karma.

    http://www.themathstutor.com/Marking_schemes.html

    Hope its helpful !

    here you go:

Aililiu Bop Siuáidi Ruaidhri Ó Báille

Grá – Tá teama an ghrá le feiceáil go soleir san ursceal seo. Is leir go raibh an-ghrá ag an teaghlach dá máthair. Tá an mháthair marbh le dhá bhliain anuas, ach tá an teaghlach fos croibhriste. Tá Niamh iontach buartha faoina deartháir Colm. Tá se ag athru gach lá. Deanann si iarracht caint leis, agus tugann si cuidiu agus tacaiocht do. Togann si faoi deara nach bhfuil a hathair ag deileáil le bás a bhean cheile. Deanann si iarracht caint leis chomh maith. Deanann Niamh a lán rudai timpeall an ti. Glacann si a lán freagracht. Ce go bhfuil teannas sa teaghlach, is leir go bhfuil grá láidir acu ar a cheile.

Uaigneas – Tá teama an uaignis le feiceáil go soleir san ursceal seo. Feicimid o thus an ursceil go mothaionn Niamh, Colm, agus an t-athair uaigneach i ndiaidh bás a máthar. Is leir go bhfuil siad fos croibhriste. Tá cursai go dona sa teach. Ni reitionn an teaghlach go maith lena cheile. Tá teannas idir Colm agus a athair. Ni feidir leo cumarsáid i gceart. Bionn siad ag argoint faoi rudai eagsula go minic. Tá Niamh sáite sa lár. Tá uaigneas uirthi go dti go dtagann Cian isteach sa sceal. Is feidir lei cursai an tsaoil a phle leis. Tá uaigneas an domhain ar Cholm. Nil se sásta a chuid fadhbanna a phle. Coinnionn se a chuid smaointe do fein. Éirionn se feargach go minic. Oiche amháin i ndiaidh an chomortais, fágann se an áit agus teann se ag siul sa dorchadas ina aonar. Tá se trina cheile ar fad. Tá Niamh iontach buartha faoi Cholm agus faoina hathair, mar tá an t-uaigneas ag cur isteach go mor orthu mar theaghlach.

Sorry wasn't able to copy any more. It just came up blank!

Study Hub or The Pirate Bay?

Sorry, but Eircom can try to make up for all their Nazi Dictating with this "Hub" bull****, but it isn't gonna get their customers back I'm afraid.

For Eircom customers who are unaware, type "thepiratebay.org" into your address bar.....

In all fairness, it's between getting sued by record and film companies and blocking access to the site. I wish they wouldn't have had to do it, but it's their only option.

Hi, is anyone interested in a large collection of older schoolbooks all at 2 euro each? We have a private school and are currently trying to clear out a huge array of books including English, Irish, Maths, History, Geography, Science, Examination Papers, Home Economics...the books are in good condition and would be really useful for revision work etc. They range from the 1980 publications to 2006/2007/2008 publications. If you are interested or have any ideas as to where we could dispose of them, please esther8700@hotmail.com

    Dia daoibh, a chairde,

Duine desna Riarthóirí ar www.foramnagaeilge.com is ea mé. Táimid tar éis fóram nua a thosnú do mhic léinn Gaeilge an Teastais Shóisirigh amháin. Achmhain is ea é chun Gaeilge a chleachtadh, chun cabhair a fháil ó dhaoine eile agus chun nótaí a ullmhú don ábhar. Tá sé saor in aisce a úsáid, agus oibríonn an fóram i gcóras nach bhfuil ró-dhifriúil ó Boards.ie. Beidh fáilte is fiche roimh aon duine nua a thagann chuig an tsuíomh. :)

Seo nasc chuig an fóram nua: http://www.foramnagaeilge.com/viewforum.php?f=19

    Hello!

I'm one of the Admins on www.foramnagaeilge.com. We've just put together a new forum specifically for Junior Cert students. It's a resource for practising the use of Irish, getting help with the language and for helping to prepare your own notes for the subject. It's free to use, and the forum is similar enough to the system used here on boards.ie. All new members to the site are most welcome. :)

    Mise le meas,
    IO/Tomás Ó Coileáin
