    Hi,

I recently bought the number 1 strength grippers and have been using them regularly enough for the last 2 weeks. I cant quite close them, theres still about an inch left between the handles when ive reached my limit. The thing is i excercise with them regularly but i havent seen much improvement.

When i excercise, my forearms do get a little tired but after a few mins rest they are back to normal and i have yet to feel any tiredness in forearm muscle the next day. This is quite different to what im used to when working out with weights where normally my arms / chest / whatever would be quite tired the day after excercising them.

Is it because im not excercising for long enough or is this normal for forearm/grip training? At this rate ill never be strong enough to close a level 2 :)

Do negatives - squeeze them as tight as you can, then hold it there for as long as you can. Then switch to the other hand. When that's done, go back to the first hand. Keep switching till you can't squeeze them anymore.

Then take at least two days rest or until the pain's gone, before using them again.
