This thread i created is for people who play on Navan and have to speak out about what a great game they had. You can talk about what happend be it killz, talk or just how good TiG players realy can be. I asked on the server (Navan) sould i go a head with this idea and got alot of feedback (all say yes).
The reason i came up with the idea is because im the only one i know that cant explain the greatness of the game i just pld, cause my mam and dad dont care and my brother loves CS. I need to say how good a game is other wise i dream about it, so here is a place for all of you to enjoy!

This was the funniest thing ever it was reclaming hue and there was a war raging around us. ttcomet had a tank and i was on foot with no nades he was going mad that i kept escaping and we waited 20mins untill he got bored and drove off were i gave chase but he got destroyed. This was by far the funniest thing i have incountered. Cheers to ttcomet for the longest consintration i have ever seen!!:D

Were a few good games last night alright. Ho Chi Minh trail was my favourite. Unfortunately I went Harold Loyd hunting when I saw him crossing the bridge only to discover him standing behind me wearing nothing but a car15 and a smile.... favourite bit was a three round burst at a speck among the trees that happened to be LoBo.

Did diabolically bad on that city map Had some fun in a tank though until I accidentally team killed Arkangel (sorry!). And not a single DarkIreland or Dataisgod knife found me for the whole night.

Its simple the best part of the game is sneaking up on someone a placing a nice knife in their back... teach them to be camping in one sport raining down sniper fire on a spawn point . Or of course when your firing at one guy and two other line up right behind him to be taken out always makes me giggle.

I've realised that when I get into a one-one-one battle, like 5 feet apart, I just wheel around wildly spraying bullets randomly. And I possibly close my eyes tightly as well, while wincing. This is why I prefer to take someone out with those tasty M79s, preferably from about a mile away.

Enjoyed last nights game, even tho i only played one full game, (hue), got a cup of tea while the fall of lang vei was loading, only to come back a couple of minutes later to find lang vei was already over after all the VC spawnpoints were lost *L* Highlight of the night...coming first in hue. And only my second time on navan...giggity giggity!

Just take the base, if your so 1337. Base camping is just plain lame. "Ooooh... look @ me... I've got 100 kills... by not even going for one flag... by just sniping them as they spawn..."

LoL to fluffer and lenny and valdez with our crazy stunts on the helicopters i have the pics and i have the one were fluffer is having a knife fight with valdez on the roof while lenny trys to stay on. Karma is a HARDCORE GAMER he was on almost 6 hrs.

O and hokie that was funny when u got on chopper u didnt even stay on for a second u just died after take off. And by far the funniest thing yet the boat i droped on irving it was all the way into the village but fluffer and hokie stayed at it and they managed to move the boat back into the water, took only 15mins. ROFL.:cool:

Actualy the reason i do that is because im so used to not getting back up that if i do it a few times people go "hang on a minute he must be in trouble lets go and help him".
I hate when everyone goes of on a hunt for one man or stupidly runs into a fight with guys who pose no threat, Then im left gaurding a vital flag from nearly 6-7 angry VC or NVA. Its comon sence not to split your forces up when they only have one flag left, you simpley spread out and form a sweeping line that can fall back or help one another if the line gets breached!!

I was on your site TiG and want to know how Karma got on top of that tower on Reclaiming Hue? I have tryed to locate a stair way but have no idea how he got up there how do you get up there and also how did you get on some of the office blocks? Quote "Karma likes his hights" Thats what it said on the top of the picture.

well, I did my first knifing on Navan last night (cambodian incursion). Thank you fighting Irish for being such a helpful victim. Always nice to be treated so kindly on your first time . Took me ages to kill the git, he was lying down and I started hacking away for a few seconds before realising I would have to kneel down to reach him. next patch, I want to see an optional stick to extend the range of your knife.

It says how you died on left of screen ,if a lot of people die hit Tilde and you can see how you died.

Should be a WTF button for BF sometimes i just dunno how i die.

I usually cant work out what's happened when its a team kill. you know, like when someone is taking a flag nad calls for reinforcements then evilly shoots you in the face as you round the corner of a tent saying "here I am buddy to help you in your moment of glo..."... you know who you are ( it was the quang tri map, the 1972 version).

Who's that Robbi guy. he was pretty good.

I have to say devil you are the....................worst person i have evr seen driving a tank. we were on Cambodian inscursion and he was in the water with his tank taking the bridge flag. I seen him in my tank but he hit me too fast so i jumped in the water and swam rite up to his turret, it took him at least 3mins of firing at the banks before he killed me ROFL. Luckly i got a quick respawn and RPGed him back to hell.I love playing devil, dataisgod and fluffer. All three can be your worst nightmare at times or just be your stress ball!!

I think we exchanged pistol/primary weapon fire and I believe I died with a binoculars in my hand as he shot me.
I have nightmares about my digital self not being allowed into heaven for dying dishonourably with a binocs in hand.

Please, stop repeating audio messages at us.
It doesn't encourage us to help, more to TK.
I doubt the NRG guys need that kind of screaming to back someone up and TiG shouldn't.

What I encourage is being specific in audio messages.
Don't request reinforcements if you're on a push, say follow me.
Don't say enemy spotted, if it's a tank say hostile armour spotted...
Try the different 'request'-menu options.
And respect people's right to ignore you, free will is a bitch.


I'm not the worst tank driver you've seen.
I was chillin out after trying too hard for too long in TiG's Squad AvB thing so I thought I'd play kinda silly and for fun.

I rode a 2 jeeps and an APC at the northern-most NVA main base with music blaring for a laugh, dying horribly.
I then drove the US APC up again(damn its slow) with music blaring.
Two soldiers failed to stop me. I stopped next to the PT-76, stole it. Shelled people, gunned them...
Eventually took the 1.30 flag on my own somehow with a smidgen of health in the tank.

I then, music still blaring, drove into the river, down along to your good self who was parked on bridge in Sheridan.
I abused my negative relative altitude to mangle the Sheridan and you bailed, swam for my crazed ass and pixied about my tank.

The splash damage off the sides was SERIOUSLY dodgy with the damage I'd taken.
You were the last kill in a my 'manoevre of madness' TM.
When you finally got me I almost had the flag neutral and I almost killed you before you got me becuse you came straight into my waiting guns.

It was a testement to how stupidity can prosper and how fun it can be for someone like myself, no matter what people think you are.

I believe trying to relax I topped the server either before or after. My memory is pretty weak, details may be wrong...


It was a funny moment but I think one other time I was parked in a PT-76 on that same bridge and I had 3/4 TiG enemies around me.
I wouldn't leave and I couldn't aim down to get them.
They must've run out of grenades cause I drove forward and back avoiding nades till they stopped exploding.
I switched to external view to observe the madness and I believe it was [TiG]Lucutus standing on top of my turret firing pistol at it.
We were on TS so there was slagging and he wouldn't get off so I suddenly drove off the bridge into the water, landing awkwardly and shedding my surprised passenger, allowing death-dealing to commence.

To get the others I backed onto an opposite bank.
I eventually got RPGed.
Good times, good people, good map.

I actually managed to come 2nd during a match last night. Shame on you all for allowing this skill-inversion to happen.

That fella Pog Mahone was a strange fish though, just hanging around in grounded choppers all night. I suppose the sound of the rotors is somewhat hypnotic.
