Everyone has different tastes but often our favourite albums don't coincide with what we nomally listen to...apparently.

Anyways my two absolutes are Romeo and Juliet soundtrack the 2nd cd and Nirvana, unplugged in New York!

Without a shadow of a doubt, my favourite album has to be, the only album i listen to practially once a week religiously:

Counting Crows - August And Everything After

Easily the best album i've ever heard!

If you haven't heard it, find yourself a copy!

Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed

Watch as I get flamed: and the prize for the worst album of all time: Counting Crows - August and Everything After.
I don't think buckley's grace is that good, I think nearly all of his father's albums are better than his. Happy/Sad is great.

Now - watch me get flamed...
    David Bowie - Hunky Dory

It's one album I just don't get. Ziggy - Great. Alladin Sane - Brilliant. Diamond Dogs - it's...er...The Dogs Danglies...

But Hunky Dorey...Bar Changes, Life on Mars and Quicksand, I just can't get into it. I think that '..Pretty Things' has to have the most tuneless verse with the most self indulgent piano on it and the rest of it just doesn't come up to scratch. And yet every other feckin' bowie fan on the planet says it's the biz.

Is there some sort of frame of mind a chap should be in or summat - I've listened to it loads of times, drunk, sober, doing the dishes, and I want to like it, but just can't...

Well I certainly amn't going to flame you. Music's subjective, you're entitled to your opinion. Question though, why bother posting about your dislike for one of someone else's favourites? Oh wait, I'm just as guilty. Never mind, Carry on...

btw, everyone should go out and buy every single album on treefingers' list, starting with Unknown Pleasures and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, and open their minds beyond Lilac fuqing Wine from here on in. Treat yourselves, listen to treefingers' advice.

Unless they forgot to update their website.... NO, not Pt 3... piece of crap with the name 'pt3', .

-For the record: There’s only one official 2 Many DJ’s album.

Shrewd moneymakers have released a ridiculous amount of other volumes, and are selling them in shops and on the internet. These are not official 2 Many DJ’s albums! Most of these bootlegs contain one hour mixes made for a radioshow called ‘Hang The DJ’, which was broadcast on the Belgian radio station Studio Brussel. They were never intended for release, nor were they cleared with any of the artists. Some of these mixes are quite old (up to 4 years), and there are even copies out there which aren’t mixed by 2 Many DJ’s at all, so beware of imitations. Please don’t spend your money on these cheeky CD’s. There are places on the internet where you can download them for free, so we hear...

As for an official follow up: Never say never

yes it is unofficial....yes it is a copy of the hang the djs radio show..

i aquired it in when i was working in ghent 2 years ago... along with pts 1 and 4, i also have the "official part 2" but i can truely say, the mixing on this "album" is far better than pt 2.

and as far as i know, its only Pt 9 that isnt the brothers dewale mixing it up...

    Favourite Album of all time:-
Neil Young - On The Beach - its just perfect, every note - nothing else comes close to being this good.

(other NY albums of note - All of them really, but especially Harvest, Tonight's The Night, Time Fades Away, Reactor :), Trans)

Bob Dylan - Bootleg Series Volume 4, The Royal Albert Hall Concert

Joni Mitchell - Ladies Of The Canyon

Gomez - Bring It On - i loved this album intensly for about a year.

The Frames - Dance The Devil - (definetly their best)

Stephen Stiills - Manassas - a huge sprawling album that loops through different stlyes and themes - nailing everyone of them perfectly.

Unofficial alright, Part 9 is the latest one, but the newest ones are terrible.

Part 3 is one of the best, especially the first 11 or 12 tracks on it!
