I was talking about this in work today with one of my friends who thinks he has a very unusual posture. Any time he walks he seems to put his head forward alot and he looks like he has a small stoop most of the time. Does anyone here know any back excercises than can help him to improve his posture before it gets worse. He was asking me about this but I wasnt sure, so im posting it here.

    thanks

I did Irish dancing for years as a kid and I hated it, but it gave me great posture.

To correct posture, you have to conciously pull yourself up, shoulders back, chest out, and head held high. Exercises can make your back stronger, but posture can only be corrected by conditioning and concious thought.

my posture used to be like that, i went to a chiropractor and now its all fixed.

the ammount of work he did i doubt you could simply put your shoulders back, chest out and have your posture fixed like hey presto!
