Not sure where the best place to post this but here goes.

I am wondering what other users of the centre think of it?

It is supposed to be DCC's flagship but to my mind areas such as cleanliness, lockers (so many of them continuously out of order) and the general apathy not to mention the legacy of the poor design leaves an awful lot to be desired. The only thing that happens quickly there are price increases!

Emmmmmm I'm there 5 mornings a week and I think its great.

The lockers are okay -although some of there are permantently out of order, but once you know which ones are broken its grand.

The changing rooms (mens anyway) are clear in the mornings although I know late in the evenings they are a little grubby.

The prices went up once in the last 6 months, and only by a little. If you use it alot join for a few months. I did and it worked out at about €2.50 a swim. Not bad at all.

Sauna is very nice. Pool is lovely - although they can overdo it with the chlorine about once a month.

From a swimming point of view the Markievicz is great.
