An avation board!

i seen on the news today that the UK air traffic controls went down and /I am a big avation fanatic! I'm only 15 but I'm going to be a pilot and that's that. I'd love if there could be a board all about helicopters, aeroplanes, Air traffic controlling and Aer Rianta! Just think about this, we could all go to the Galway Airshow on 4 July and discuss the happenings there on the avation board! It could be really interesting to everybody to discuss AVATION! I'd like to see you reject this idea?;)

Pointless imo - victor does an excellent job covering aviation on commuting/transport.

Soundslike you should get together with the train and bird freaks and set up a *spotters forum.

Can whatever needs to be discussed be done in the transport forum. Its not as if there are loads of threads about Boeing, Airbus and the US Military's new super fast paper areoplane.

I think what this fella is looking for is not a forum to discuss things like Aer Rianta but rather a place to discuss flying lessons, flying your own plane etc etc. As such the idea has merit but lacks the support to make such a forum work right now perhaps. I could be wrong, there are hundreds of flight sim nerds in Ireland!

Well, me and ecksor had a big tiff earlier and I told ecksor I wasn't going to stop until this fourm was started, so I'm not going to stop until it's started. Anyway, he's an admin, so if he didn't like the idea by now, I'm sure he would've locked this thread by now!
