Ok, I'm a bit apprahensive about talking about this, but:
    basically i have a problem.
im told that i have anorexia, that i think im fat, which, in gods honest truth, i do.
but there are many things besides that that i dont like.
at the moment im a blue tip in ITF taekwon-do. but i feel that the weight i have is slowing me down. im about 5 11' in height, i weigh 13 stone and im fairly strongly built, but i detest the way i look. i have these big awkward shoulders which i feel look ugly and have a lot of bulky muscle which i really dont want/need.
i was chubby as a kid and that fat has turned into muscle which i detest now. ive tried a bit of yoga which is ok, but the main thing im after is to lose fat and muscle safely and inrease dexterity. the main areas i want to change are: my shoulders/upper back, stomach(like always), chest, ass and upper legs.
if u think i have a mental problem, please tell me:(

First of all, are you a man or a woman?

I'm assuming that you're a woman in your post. I wouldn't recommend losing muscle, but there are programs that can give your muscles a longer, sleeker, more feminine look (I assume your problem is with their bulik). I believe pilates can be good for this.

that fat has turned into muscle which i detest now

    Hi Crazy Talk

First thing, fat does not turn to muscle or muscle to fat.

Secondly what you want is an fitness assessment. A good fitness instructor, using the right equipment will assess if you are over weight or not. And not those fat monitor weighing scales.
but the main thing im after is to lose fat and muscle safely and inrease dexterity. the main areas i want to change are: my shoulders/upper back, stomach(like always), chest, ass and upper legs.

To loose fat you must increase your cardio exercises. In other words increase your heart rate. Depends how you train and how often, but taekwon-do may not do this.
You don't want to loose muscle, just need to tone the muscle you have. It looks like, and again a good fitness instructor will advise, you need to work on the fit ball for core work. this will concentrate on the areas you mentioned.
if u think i have a mental problem, please tell me
You seem to be just a normal person who doesn't like things about them selves, who doesn't..

Any class I've ever attended in TKD has been High Energy output Aerobic exercise with brief rest periods and anaerobic components.Any exercise is usually usong body weight and some Plyometric type stuff at higher fitness levels. The training you are doing encourages a lean but strong build.
You may need to analyse your body type,Ectomorph,Mesomorph etc. And any tendencies you have e.g. Mesomorph with Ectomorph tendencies.A web search will explain a lot of this stuff.Look at your build in a mirror and be honest with yourself,if bits are good/not too bad tell yourself so! Then find the couple bits you really dislike and prioritise your training to change these parts.A fitness assessment from a gym trainer may be in order?
You are tall so your shoulders etc. may actually be in proportion and you are worried about a feature that others would love to have? Some-one 5' fook all could be jealous of all tall people after all!
Lose the fat SLOWLY and re-analyse your build then.Steady exercise and a sensible diet, none of your crash dieting stuff, will do it.Dexterity comes from everyday stretching when warmed up fully and not bouncing or tearing in the stretch.

I found this book good when I did TKD first!

maybe find yourself somewhere which provides good circuit sessions.i find them fantastic when allied with a good weights session or two and some cardio.youll be flying in no time.just try find some properly tough circuits,i know some of them can resemble a light step aerobics class, but either way your going to find it hard to train in drag.

Lose the fat first. I'm a guy and I used to think I was too stocky around the shoulders etc. for my height, but once I lost fat off my abdomen my torso started to look longer and I had more of a V-shape so the muscle I had round my shoulders and chest started fitting my physique better.

If you're 5ft 11 and 13 stone, then your BMI is 25 (Desirable).

However you could still loose 2 stone and be in your desirable weight ratio.

I get where you're coming from. I'm going for myy blue belt in TKD soon and I recently lost 2 stone in weight. Since then, I've noticed a dramatic increase in my ability. But at 13 stone and 5"11', I don't think that you're overweight. My boyfriend is 6"2 and and just 100 kg, and he's a strong, but lean man.

However, if you're not happy with what you have, then you need to do something. Muscle never disappears entirely, but it will get smaller the less that it is used. Good stretching will do wonders for your flexibility.

Good luck, what ever you decide to do
