Hellman's Dijonnaise

this is a bit of an odd one and perhaps I'm not doing my mustard credibility much good here, but I go through phases of really liking this stuff on my potato waffles. Then after a while I can't stand it. Is this seen as the bastard mustard or a playful alternative?

Incidentally, I only noticed today that it's not even called dijonnaise, it's "Hellmann's Mayonnaise with Dijon Mustard". Did that change recently without me noticing or was I mistaken for all these years?

Not a big fan to be honest...

Have been using Chef Mayonaise lately in the squeezy bottle thing.

Went through a stint of using Yofresh which in hindsight is mingin'

i hate it, too many times have dim-witted waitresses assured me that there would be no mayonaissse on my sandwich, i would tentatively inquire about the availability of mustard, and then POW, the old fork in the eye.

... er i mean, POW the old dijonaisse in the sandwich trick.

    It's The Bastard Condiment.

I also utilise various preparations as waffle appliquées.

They truely are a very versatile foodstuff.

    Definitely
    The Bastard Condiment.
Although not without its merits sometimes...

This is true, but I still feel dirty when I have it on a sandwich.

Pfff, peasants, moutarde is a vital ingredient in the fabrication of real mayonnaise.
