having the balls to just come clean with how i feel about her isn't going to be easy though.

Best first kiss? Without a shadow of a doubt I can name that one. She was (is?) the love of my life even though our relationship only lasted 3/4 months before I sabotaged it (long and depressing story).

We'd met for coffee after college, went from there to get dinner, the winebar we had dinner in just happened to have Salsa lessons on that night so we took part in those after the meal and then drove along the coast road from Galway to Spiddal on a beautiful star filled night. At about 3 in the morning I dropped her back to her place and went in for a cup of tea, we spent about another half an hour flirting on the couch until I started a cushion throwing fight which conveniently left me lying on top of her and kissed her. She was so shocked I thought I'd just made a mistake, misread the signs or what have you so I asked had I and she answered by curling her fingers into my hair and pulling me towards her lips for another kiss...

If only all first dates went that well!!!

I'd been going out with her a few days, and we were sitting on a windowledge somewhere, cant remember where. I had my arm over her shoulders, and we were talking. I turned to kiss her on the cheek, she turned at the same time, we ended up kissing without meaning to. We both pulled back, made an awkward joke about it, then after looking into each others eyes for a while, we weant back in....

Yeah, if it's true that your life flashes before your eyes as you die, that'll definitely be one of the things I remember. The greatest thing about it though was there was virtually no tension outside of my own "will I? won't I?" debate in my head... Kissing her just seemed like the most natural and normal thing in the world at that moment...

The girl who frustrated by my lack of nerve finally just exclaimes "So, are you going to kiss me or not?"

The ex I brought to a moonlit beach for our first kiss. It had been simmering for ages and the ball was firmly in my court. She literally started shaking as I kissed her. Magic.


Worst first kiss? Now that's a difficult question. I assume that one night stands are out the window on this front and I've generally been quite lucky... Ah, yes, got it now. A pretty easy going, fun, fling I was involved in for about two months: when we first kissed she was one of those "washing machine" kissers... A month later I'd turned her into a pretty good kisser though

Best first kiss with someone was on September 6th, 2002 in Carlow. I was out with a big gang of friends and having a great night. I had had a few drinks and had been dancing the whole night. The boy in question was one of the crowd that was there, and I had checked him out discreetly that night and thought he was lovely.... Long story short, he came up to me and started to kiss me. It was class, and it went on for three hours.

Best first kiss was actually my very first kiss (bizarre as it seems), early 90's disco me a mad GNR head, her cute with the best body my young eyes had seen, my favourite slow GNR song comes on, I get up nerve to ask this gurrl to dance and not only did she say yes she actually kissed me. One of those moments when everythings seems to go well - right music, and right girl best first kiss ever.

Worst first kiss was brutal, was workin in France, met a gorgeous italian girl (way out of my league) but there seemed to be something there, so met her on the beach one day, went for a swim with her, we got out to this buoy or floaty thing (my excellent nautical term) and i get talking to her, take her hand (she doesn't slap me) and kiss her, in doing so i take my other hand off the buoy, we both sink, panic, inhale seawater, come back up, i smile at her and she quite nicely points out that i have a 2inch string of snot hanging out of my nose

my worst kiss was my first kiss......as the bloke in question went in for the kill he was already had his tongue sticking out!! and from what followed i think its safe to say it was his first kiss too. :dunno:

my best kiss....emmmm....dunno really. i suppose it would be with my ex. he asked me out for a drink one night and we chatted for about 3hours, had a few drinks and both of us were waiting for the other to make the first move. anyway he was in the middle of saying something and i touched his arm and he completely lost his train of thought. then he just said "fúck it" and leaned in and kissed me. might not sound very romantic but it was perfect to me. then we went out for almost 2years.

(pity the break up wasnt so perfect!)

Not really best or worst, but it happened and I found it funny at the time.
Met a girl while I was in the Gaeltachtage (met a few actually), but you know, group of lads, group of girls, away off in some forested area. Anyway, started kissing this really nice girl and everything was fine. As we took a breather, I mentioned that it was very wet (my conversation skills were not up to much at age 14 or 15) and she apolgised profusely, wiped her mouth, then we carried on.
I was actually stood in a bit of marshland, and was referring to how wet the ground was, and not to the kissing in general...
