All the news about irish quake is available from www.quake.ie , I don't think many people post here any more. To try and answer your question, there are still a fair few playing qw duels, not sure about q2 though

There are a few active quake players around, and a few more that can be coaxed into a game.

There is lots of Q3 CTF going on, I'm in DeDanann who have just formed. n8z and fh and a few others are still around.

Any server ip's for QW that are active?.
I just bought a copy of this quake game cheap and my PC should manage to run it.
All those other new games seem to need really expensive PC's to run them,but my Pentium 133 that my grandad gave me for my birthday aint up to scratch.
I was getting fed up with minesweeper anyway.
So hopefully I can get a game on the line with some of you guys.

I have no doubt that you may have beaten me, but you'll have to be more specific, alot of noobs have done it. I think a girl beat me once, I'm not sure.

The thing is, that although alot of QW players have cried over losing, I'm not really the spilling tears type. Unless I've been kicked in the nuts, or a disk failure has destroyed my Porn Collection.

I did beat Koopa once, but that was Winquake, so I'm not sure it counted. And he was stoned, and semi naked.

Anyway to restate yet again:

back on point, a good amount qw wise:

Nations Quake Rank is one of the bigger qw leagues which just finished on sunday and displays a good portion of the active qw clans at the moment.

There is a decent 1on1 irish server up at the moment tool; games3.iol.ie:27500

and for any one interested in playing qw (quake1) you can get it @ http://equake.quakeworld.nu but be warned, if your a cs player you wont be able to hack the pace :!
